ℹ️ Website vs Apps

Our websites (feedings.co.uk, benchcalc.co.uk, and influenceapp.co.uk) do not collect any personal data or use tracking. This Privacy Policy primarily applies to our mobile applications.

Feedings LTD (Company No. 16795680) ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our applications and services.

We use Firebase services for data storage and authentication

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

Email address (only if you create an account)
Google/Apple account information (only if you choose to link these services)

RSS feeds, sources, button configurations, themes (only if you use cloud backup)
Voting preferences (only if you use ShoutDings community features)

1.3 Anonymous Users

If you use the app anonymously, we collect minimal data necessary for app functionality only.

1.4 Data Collection by Feature Usage

No account created: We collect no personal data
Account created but no cloud features used: Only email address
Cloud backup enabled: Email + your feeds/sources/button configs/themes
Community features used: Email + your voting data for ShoutDings
Payment processing: Handled entirely by Apple/Google — we receive no payment data

3. Advertising

The RSS Reader is free to use and supported by ads. Ads are your choice — they support free access to the app. If you prefer no ads, you can subscribe to a paid plan to remove them entirely. All subscriptions are cancellable at any time.

3.1 AdMob Integration

Anonymous and Free Account users see advertisements served by Google AdMob. Ad Free and Supporter subscribers have no advertisements.

3.2 Consent and Privacy Choices

We use Google AdMob's consent management to respect your privacy choices:

For users in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland (GDPR regions):

A consent form is presented when you first use the app
You can choose to consent to personalised ads, receive non-personalised ads only, or decline
AdMob automatically respects your choice

For users in US states with privacy laws (California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, etc.):

An opt-out notice is presented in accordance with applicable state privacy laws
You can opt out of the sale/sharing of personal information for advertising purposes

Changing your choice:

You can reset your ad consent/privacy settings at any time in the app's Settings menu
After resetting, the consent or opt-out form will appear again on next app launch

3.3 Ad Data Collection

AdMob may collect:

Device advertising ID
IP address (anonymised)
Device information
Ad interaction data

3.4 Subscriptions to Remove Ads

Two subscription options remove all advertisements:

Ad Free: £2.50/month — removes ads, all Free Account features
Supporter: £5/month — removes ads, plus enhanced backup and cloud sync

Both are cancellable at any time through your Apple/Google account. No automatic charges after cancellation.

The RSS Reader app uses cookies for:

Authentication (Firebase — all users)
Preferences and settings storage (all users)
Ad delivery (AdMob — free tier users only)

Privacy Policy — BenchCalc

ℹ️ The Short Version

BenchCalc collects no personal data. It works entirely offline. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics, and no tracking of any kind.

1. Information We Collect

None. BenchCalc does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The app runs entirely on your device with no network connections.

2. Accounts

BenchCalc does not require or support user accounts. There is no sign-up, login, or registration of any kind.

3. Advertising

BenchCalc contains no advertisements. It is a one-time purchase with no in-app purchases or subscriptions.

4. Analytics and Tracking

BenchCalc does not use any analytics services, crash reporting, or tracking of any kind. No Firebase, no AdMob, no third-party SDKs that collect data.

5. Cookies

BenchCalc does not use cookies or similar technologies. All preferences are stored locally on your device and never leave it.

6. Data Storage

Any data you enter into BenchCalc (calculations, favourites) is stored locally on your device only. We have no access to it. If you delete the app, all data is removed.

7. Third-Party Services

BenchCalc uses no third-party services that access your data. The only third parties involved are Apple and Google for app distribution.

1.3 Data Collection by Tier

Dreamer (Free): Email (if account created) + game data + ad-related data
Adventurer/Worldshaper/Mythmaker (Paid): Email + game data + subscription status. No ad data collected.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Provide the game experience and generate stories
Save your progress, Influencer collections, and preferences
Sync data across devices (for registered users)
Process charges and manage subscriptions
Improve the app and respond to support requests

3. AI-Generated Content

Influence uses AI to generate stories in real time. Your gameplay choices and Influencer selections are sent to our AI services to create your story. We do not use your gameplay data to train AI models. Story content is generated fresh each time and is not stored on our servers after your session ends (unless saved to your cloud saves).

4. Advertising

Influence's free tier (Dreamer) is supported by ads. Ads are your choice — they let you play for free. If you prefer no ads, any paid subscription (Adventurer, Worldshaper, or Mythmaker) removes them entirely. All subscriptions are cancellable at any time.

Free tier users can also choose to watch optional reward ads to earn extra charges (up to 5 per day). This is entirely voluntary.

4.1 Consent and Privacy Choices

We use Google AdMob's consent management to respect your privacy choices:

Users in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland are presented with a consent form on first use
Users in US states with privacy laws receive opt-out notices as required
You can reset your consent/privacy choices at any time in app settings

4.2 Ad Data Collection

AdMob may collect device advertising ID, anonymised IP address, device information, and ad interaction data. See Google's privacy policy for details.

5. In-App Purchases

Influence offers subscriptions and charge packs. All payment processing is handled by Apple or Google — we never receive or store your payment card details. We receive only confirmation of purchase and subscription status.
